IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO NOT CARRY WORKERS COMPENSATION OR GENERAL LIABILITY AND THE HOMEOWNER IS THE ONLY ONE WHO,
IN THE END PAYS!  ALWAYS ASK YOUR CONTRACTOR FOR THE PROPER CERTIFICATION

The home builders association and Insured Roofing Contractors of Oklahoma are trying to keep "fly by night" roofers off of your roof.

The IRCO organization has been informed of an illegal armed forces insurance company practice.
The practice of making a consumer use only insurance company's roofers is against the law.  The consumer can not be made to use a contractor mandated by the insurance carrier.  We are still in a free country and the consumer has a right to choose their own contractor.  Please do not hesitate to call or email us if you are approached with this activity or any other that may be in question.  We are here to help the contractor and the homeowner. SEE OUR UPDATE ON THIS ARTICLE!

IMMEDIATE ATTENTION REQUIRED:

Beware of roofers coming in the OKC area because of the recent weather.  The Insured Roofing Contractors of Oklahoma Association is on call to help prevent "fly by night" roofers.  If you need to verify Workers Compensation, General Liability, or other information on a roofing contractor please call, 627-0613.  All Information is free to the consumer.

April 12, 2000 - PRESS RELEASE

Storms season is right around the corner!  You may need to call IRCO to make sure your roofer is an insured roofer.

LOCAL STATE FARM ADJUSTERS
TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS!

Many compliments have been coming to IRCOS's attention about State Farm doing what they had said they were going to do in a meeting April 2, 1998.  The top 20 roofers were invited to a meeting at a local restaurant in Edmond to discuss many issues with the State Farm administration.
One of the many topics were multi-layered roofs.  State Farm insurance had decided to tear off every layer before re-roofing.  They have done what they said they were going to do!   It is always good to hear so many homeowners and reputable roofing contractors say good things about State Farm.  Keep up the honest effort.
The Insured Roofing Contractors of Oklahoma salute the State Farm Insurance Claims office on Memorial Road!
